A Lulling Break at Sierra Vista Beach Resort

              It’s the start of summer, and also the birth month of my sister. So, my family decided to celebrate her birthday at the beach. After looking through the great beach escapades near Baguio, we have finally chosen Sierra Vista Beach Resort, located at Nibaliw, San Fabian Pangasinan. We have picked this place because it’s near, affordable, and distinct from other resorts.

              Get off at Parisia’s street, right in front of Caltex. Take a tricycle to get to the resort. (15 pesos per head). 

              We booked a room good for five people for only 2,500 pesos. In this fee, you can have the privilege to use cottages, pools, picnic area, and the beach front for free.

              I highly recommend going there from Sunday to weekdays. 

              You will know why as you read along.

Nibaliw River
 We arrived around 11 am, but we can only check-in at 12 noon. Fortunately, there is a wide picnic area with big cottages across the resort. You can rest there while waiting for your room. You can even take a closer glimpse at Nibaliw River, where you can go fishing. It’s Sunday, so, luckily the visitors were heading back home.

The coastal scenery; breathtaking

When I first saw our accommodation, I thought it won’t be that special; but, the room is more than what we expected.

It depends on how you would look at it, though. 

                          

The room is fully air-conditioned; the ambiance is deeply relaxing.

It is green everywhere, and the wind breeze has overpowered the heat of summer. It’s such a perfect timing going there. You won’t sweat that much!

They only have two swimming pools: one for kids, and one for adults. But, we enjoyed the beach more.

The cottages and grilling zones are located at the beach front. You can choose any cottage you like.

The beach front has large space for all your planned activities. 

If you want to eat fresh seafood, you don’t need to go to the market. The fish vendors will approach you. They are everywhere, and can give you good deals, too.

 The water is cool, and free from unwanted jellyfish.

The sunset is so unwinding.

If you stay here overnight, you can have an early morning jog along the beach, or a morning swim to reduce hangover.

They have 24-hour security, which you wouldn't notice. But, according to a friend, they have secret agents and spies around. So, worry no more.

If you have more time, you can go boating from the beach to the river. Bring your fishing tools ‘coz if you catch oysters, you can have them for free. We didn’t have much time, and my niece was quite scared, so we weren’t able to try it.

             There you go. Going there at the right time can truly give you the lulling break you desired. Sierra Vista might seem simple in pictures, but if you set your foot in this hidden paradise, you will be enticed to go back there with your friends.
